First Video Of Phish With Santana Surfaces

YouTube user "Nosmo King" has uploaded for the first time footage of Phish playing with Santana, captured on July 31, 1992 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The setlist has been added to phish.net and you can watch the video here:

The entire band sat in for "Elmore's Blues," and Trey stayed on for "Blues for Salvador." At one point, Santana comically introduces Mike as "Mark." Thank a taper!

JamChaser Trey's tone/performance on Blues for Salvador was superb. Here's to 1992. Thanks for posting Pete!

TheNextBall My 1st show! This is amazing and I remember it well. I'd never heard of Phish til they walked on this stage and blew me away. There were lots of "hippie" fans in the lot/crowd, tho later I realized they were mostly Phish fans on tour from the N East. During their set, they had Santana fans totally won over and wanting more, with the heads dancing in the aisles. I was glad Carlos brought them back out to play with him, cuz to be honest, they were way more fun. Obviously, I was impressed. Thanks tapers and VCR camcorder folks!

dscott Confession: At first glance, I read "Phish with Santa."

FWIW, Nosmo King has posted vids of a few songs from Phish's set that same night.

jkkyler I was at this show as well - to see PHISH (we even had made a huge banner that said POSSUM AT BLOSSOM . Trey saw it at one point as we were close and pointed to where a watch would be as "we don't have time". all the Santan fans were kind of milling around up on the causeway or still coming into the venue but when Phish came on they all perked up and were loving it just like Thenextball said.
This was my 5th show and last show before I joined the Army - I had just Graduated college. Next time IZ saw them was in Columbia SC in '94 at my permanent duty station - Fort Jackson.
