Review by art_vandelay

art_vandelay having just seen phish in charlotte on the 26th, i still had the jones to see another show....and seeing that their halloween show was practically in my backyard, i couldn't pass it up. i ended up buying a pair of tickets from a broker for $50 each (a steal by today's standards!) for seats behind the stage, and off i went. i gotta say, if there's any phish show you'd want to sit behind the stage for, it'd have to be halloween....half the fun was being able to watch the band AND thousands of crazy concertgoers dancing in costume at the same time, and it was quite a sight. one person in particular standing up front was wearing a cool 'close encounters of the third kind' alien outfit.....it was so convincing, he very well could've landed outside the venue & just strolled on inside hassle-free, for all i know...lol

i walked out of the show thinking "one of the best shows ever". years later, i purchased the 'live phish' soundboard from this night, and initially i was concerned that maybe i built it up in my head too much over time & would be ultimately let down....nope, it was just as good as i remembered!
