That Radiohead show in 2008 in VA wasn't cancelled. It was a torrential down pour and nearly half the people couldn't get to the venue because of flooding on the roads so they offered refunds to those people. Incredible show and environment, the lawn at Nissan Pav was a water slide but those who made it were loving it..
I imagine he's talking about the show at Bull Run back in the early 2000's. I went to that show too and it was cancelled while we were still in the parking lot. It was a pretty tremendous storm and the stage was sinking. Ruined my only chance ever to see the Beta Band, although I did get to see Radiohead a couple of years later at Merriweather.
