soundboy1 Best show of my first year of Phish. The vibe was crazy. Every single person there was on the EL train. The venue was a tiny little place with old lady ushers. It was more like an old movie theater than a performance space. They didn't rip tickets so EVERYONE got in. Even that old dude who used to sell the fake acid. I'm sure anyone from the east coast in this era remembers him and his crew... Sketchball for sure. So this show I actually remember the music. I loved it because it was my first Mike's Song Mound and Weigh... I was a kid and not very critical at that time so for me song selection ruled the day. That would change later but at this time I was just into the songs they played and the signals and just the general oddity of it all... Mimi being there was great. I actually spoke with her outside for a little bit. She was definitely an old hippie... She got it.
