WFBIII Sivad - I didn't attend the show but I echo your thoughts on Trey's tone.

There's definitely a lot less sustain which is a little unfortunate - I used to love the long drawn out solos he would rip, part of the reason I started liking Phish!

I find his style different too. More abbreviated and using a very weird effect.

I love these guys but it's not the band I fell in love with back in the 90s.
