Review by thelot

thelot What circulates for this show sounds as good as what appears on Junta. It’s a shame there isn’t more available as the band seemed in good spirits on this night. Mike carried his silliness over from the previous night. I would imagine they were excited for their upcoming trip to Colorado. Skin it Back features a nice little jam. Paul Languedoc was substituted for Jimmy during the narration…Fun version! BBFCFM was also a hoot! Fish’s bone solo in Sanity cracks me up every time! It should be noted that Page and then Trey sing a little bit of John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High” before Icculus after a fan screams for it in the audience. For the encore Trey asks “Do you want to hear a stupid song? We know plenty of those” lol. Camel Walk starts off with Mike saying “A chance to display your choreographic talent” lol. A silly night is a good night! Let’s hope this entire performance sees the light of day at some point!
